BODY PARTS AND SPACESHIP ELEMENTS
I decided to construct my protagonist alien by drawing the individual parts of his body and spaceship to allow for further animated elements in the final video if animating in After Effects turn out to be easy and intuitive (and if the limited time of the project isn't enough, it could be a good project to go back to once I have had more experience).The alien, who goes by the placeholder name of Steve for now, and his spaceship are going to be the main focus of the video. He will be floating through space avoiding obstacles in hopes of arriving to his destination on time and in one piece.
The drawings were done with a felt tip pen on 8.5x11 paper to be easily scanned and modified.
